Sapphire Pegasus, International Business Aviation Awards – Celebrating Business Excellence

The Sapphire Pegasus Awards is series of programs designed to honor prominent stakeholders, companies, and individuals in business aviation. The Awards are given to celebrate those who have distinguished themselves through immense contributions to the sector-locally, regionally, or at the national level. Nominees will be commended across every aspect of the aviation industry. Sapphire Pegasus Awards has continued to be the yardstick for aviation business executives, stakeholders, and individuals who have demonstrated best aviation practices, and inputs towards the development of the aviation industry and the global community at large.

The Sapphire Pegasus Awards will recognize and Award outstanding performances of companies, teams and business individuals from the Caribbean region. Judges of Advisory Board will do nominations for the Caribbean Awards and winners will be announced based on the outcome of the votes. Nominations for the Awards can be sent in via email with concise bio and key reasons for the nomination. The Sapphire Pegasus Awards are presented during a dinner of Caribbean Meet Up Conference which will be held in St. Marteen held in  June 11 – 13, 2019.

NOMINATION PROCESS

The nomination procedure is completely open, anyone can nominate a company or individual they feel is worthy of nomination. Alternatively companies or individuals can make a self nomination. Nominations can be made by the following procedures:

Via Email

Email to info@spbaa.com – Download the Nomination form here
Include Nomination letter (this should include an explanation and reasons for nominatiting person/company) and a personal bio (if nominating a person) or corporate profile (if nominating a company)

HOW TO VOTE

Companies or individuals can vote:
1. online on our web at www.spbaa.com or
2. via email to send us short email with all relevant details of nominee mentioning category to info@spbaa.com

JUDGING PROCESS

The judging process will be conducted in the following way – 40 % allocated by votes and 60% by the Advisory Board, so it is important that you vote as every vote will count.

ADVISORY BOARD

The Advisory Board is comprised of a team of business aviation experts from different parts of industry and will have the final word on the selection of companies or individuals for the Awards.

Prior to the Awards Ceremony Event, finalists (excluding finalists for categories Lifetime Achievement, Woman in Aviation, Business Aviation Journalist/ Topic coverage and Charity Effort) are invited to come to make a presentation of their achievements or accomplishments in person.

All information will be treated in the strictest confidentiality and will only be circulated amongst the judges. Entries are judged on merit only, with no reference to external considerations.
